Born in Cameroon, Donald Wilson's journey into movement began in 2008 with Salsa, Bachata, and Afrohouse. A year later, he discovered Kizomba—a defining moment that set the course for his artistic path.
From 2009 to 2012, Donald immersed himself in intensive training across multiple disciplines, studying Afrohouse with Blaya, Kizomba and Semba with Mestre Petchu, and exploring Hip-Hop, Locking, and Contemporary at Millennium Dance Center. This diverse foundation shaped his distinctive style and deep understanding of rhythm, technique, and cultural roots.
Since 2011, Donald has shared his expertise worldwide, teaching Kizomba, Semba, Afrodance, and UrbanKiz at festivals across the world (USA - Broadway Dance Center, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia). Beyond his own performances, he has trained numerous instructors who now actively shape the global dance scene—a testament to his lasting impact as both an artist and educator.
